Chio Otsuka is a photographer who moved from Japan to the UK when she was 10 and she said this turmoil time in her past is what sparked the idea for her photo series "Imagine Finding Me"
The series of photographs sees the photographer using a technique to super impose herself into photos of her younger safe at different places that she has visited in her past.
Below demonstrates a number of her images.
I have chosen to incorporate the photograph into my development work as I feel it fits in nicely to the idea of "heaven was needing an idea" and it provides me with a photographer to refer back to through my development.
'I'm embarking on the journey to where I once belonged and at the same time becoming a tourist in my own history,' This is quoted from Otsuka herself and links to the idea of me editing out the ones in the old photos who are no longer with us as it is revisiting a place where they once belonged.
