Recreation

After finding the slides of my grandparents from when they were younger I decided to go ahead and do a shoot where I got my grandparents showing the same love and affection to each other as they did in the photographs that I found from when they were younger. 

This shows the theme of time by contrasting the images of from when my grandparents were younger to them now and the fact that even though nearly 50 years, they are still as strong as ever.

For the photo above, I found the writing on the jumper of my granddad highly distracting in the image so I went ahead in photoshop and removed the logo off the jacket.

For the image above, I purposely got the sun glare into the photograph as I thought it would add the idea of light shining down on the couple suggesting happiness and blessing.

Despite this, I feel that it didn't work successfully in the photograph and added a big distraction to the photograph.

and again with this image, I removed the writing off the back of the jacket using photoshop as i feel it was a great distraction to the photograph.

I took the set of photographs in the black and white setting on my camera and they came out very high contrast. I feel this takes away from the photographs and decreases the quality of them.
